Job summary

Quincy Medical Group in Quincy, IL is seeking a Customer Service–oriented Patient Service Representative to support patient billing questions, insurance information, and payment arrangements. The role interfaces with patients, providers, and internal teams to ensure accurate account management and timely reimbursements.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, based in Quincy, with no weekends or overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients regarding billing, balances, insurance coverage, and payment options.
• Answer incoming calls, emails, voicemails, and assist walk-in patients with account questions.
• Establish payment plans and assist patients in understanding financial obligations.
• Process payments and maintain accurate account documentation.
• Review insurance information, verify coverage, and assist with claim-related questions and dispute resolution.
