Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service, reception, scheduling, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and maintain patient information.
• Comfort using computers and learning scheduling and electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a friendly, professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out.
• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Enter and update patient demographic, insurance, and registration information.
• Verify insurance information and collect required payments when applicable.
• Answer incoming calls, assist patients with questions, route messages.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling in the EMR.
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to meet patient needs.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Support daily clinic operations and provide a positive experience for patients.
