Job summary

Quincy Medical Group is seeking an Insurance Biller to support revenue cycle operations by ensuring accurate insurance claim submissions and timely reimbursements. You will work with insurers, providers, coders, and internal teams to manage claims, research denials, and optimize reimbursement in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The role offers a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, daytime) with a hybrid work option after six months, in a professional office setting focused on high-quality

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Prior medical billing or revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and insurance claim processes preferred.
• Experience with EMR and billing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submit electronic and paper insurance claims accurately and on time.
• Review claims for completeness prior to submission.
• Monitor claim status and follow up with insurers on denials or underpayments.
• Research billing discrepancies and resolve payment variances.
• Coordinate resubmissions and correct claim errors.
• Communicate with insurers, providers, coders, and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain documentation of billing activities and payer communications.
• Stay current on payer guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor work queues to ensure timely resolutions.
• Identify reimbursement trends and suggest process improvements.
