Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Care Coordinator to provide inbound and outbound phone support to payers, patients, caregivers, pharmacies, and providers. You will coordinate benefits, orders, and appointments while serving as a key point of contact for program enrollment and affordability support.

Responsibilities include navigating payer requirements, explaining coverage, advocating for patients, and maintaining accurate records under SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience in reimbursement/insurance, healthcare billing, or related benefit coordination preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong knowledge of prior authorization and appeals processes.
• Familiarity with medical and pharmacy insurance terminology and reimbursement workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide inbound and outbound phone support as Care Coordinator to payers, patients, and providers.
• Coordinate patient benefits, product orders, and appointment scheduling to support the patient journey.
• Explain benefits across payer types and assist program enrollment and affordability options.
• Serve as liaison between Program Management and healthcare providers to maintain relationships.
• Follow SOPs and call guides, document interactions, and report outcomes to improve service quality.
