Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Patient Development Specialist in Downers Grove to handle inbound and outbound patient calls, guiding callers to booked appointments with warmth and efficiency.

You will verify patient information, assess needs, match with local providers, confirm insurance coverage, and schedule visits while upholding HIPAA standards and delivering excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: 1+ year in a customer-facing role such as sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, or a call center, with comfort working toward goals or targets.
• Preferred: Experience in inside sales, SDR/BDR, or a call center; healthcare or appointment-scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Convert Calls to Booked Appointments: greet, verify identity, understand needs, match providers, confirm insurance, book visit.
• Documents call outcomes and follows HIPAA and data-privacy requirements.
• Meet or exceed individual call-to-booking targets.
• Use warm, genuine tone to build trust and move calls to a scheduled visit.
• Follow up on leads, callbacks, and voicemails to capture opportunities.
• Provide warm, compassionate, and professional service on every interaction.
• Listen actively, adapt tone, and de-escalate concerns to maintain satisfaction.
