Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions is seeking a capable supervisor for Patient Access operations within a hospital network in the United States. You will mentor new hires and existing staff, guide daily work, and support escalation handling.

You will help plan for Admitting, Scheduling, ED and clinic workflows, while maintaining strong customer service. You will monitor activity, prepare metric reports, and perform special projects as needed in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College degree preferred.
• 4 plus years experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area.
• 5 plus years experience in Patient Access preferred.
• 2 plus years in supervisory or lead role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily support/mentoring/training to new hires as well as existing Patient Access staff. Provides assistance in managing escalated issues as needed.
• Assists in preparation for short/long range planning for Registration Process areas including Admitting, Centralized Scheduling, Emergency Department and any clinics.
• Maintains positive customer service and helps staff resolve issues.
• Monitors daily activity and completes performance and metric reports such as financial clearance reports; can perform special projects and reporting.
• Performs all Patient Access functions as needed.
• Acts as part of the management team to ensure the group meets operational goals.
