Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Access supervisor to mentor staff and guide daily work in Admitting, Scheduling, ED, and related clinics. You will oversee training, policy enforcement, and the delivery of timely performance reports within hospital operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and adherence to health care regulations, with on-site responsibilities in a hospital environment and involvement in process improvements across the revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• College degree preferred.
• 2 or 4 year degree in Business, Accounting, Medical Administration or related area preferred.
• 4+ years experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area
• 5+ years experience in Patient Access preferred
• 2+ years in supervisory or lead role preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide daily mentoring/training to new hires and existing staff.
• Assist in short and long range planning for Registration Process areas.
• Maintain positive customer service and help resolve issues.
• Enforce policies and develop new procedures per hospital guidelines.
• Monitor daily activity and produce performance and metric reports.
• Perform all Patient Access functions as needed.
• Contribute to management team to meet operational goals.
