Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions seeks a staffing supervisor to mentor and guide Patient Access staff, ensuring day-to-day work and proper handling of accounts. The role supports planning across Admitting, Centralized Scheduling, ED and clinics, and upholds strong customer service.

The supervisor enforces policies, develops procedures with hospital guidelines, and monitors activity with performance reporting. You will participate in management to meet operational targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 4+ years in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area.
• 5+ years in Patient Access preferred; 2+ years in supervisory/lead role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentors and trains new hires and existing staff with daily work and account handling.
• Supports short/long range planning for Registration Process areas (Admitting, Centralized Scheduling, ED, clinics).
• Maintains positive customer service and assists staff in resolving issues.
• Enforces policies and assists in developing new procedures per hospital guidelines.
• Monitors daily activity and completes performance/metric reports; may handle special projects.
• Performs all Patient Access functions as needed and supports management in achieving goals.
