Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to consumers and establishes a positive first impression of Northwestern Medicine.
• Exceeds consumer requests and escalates issues as needed.
• Gathers and verifies patient demographic information.
• Schedules and directs patients through NMHC systems with staff.
• Contacts patients to schedule appointments.
• Performs medical necessity checks and explains options if appointments fail.
• Facilitates pre-authorization of diagnostic exams with insurers.
