Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in customer service or patient relations.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills and typing ability (40 wpm).

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to patients and families to create a positive first impression.
• Schedules and directs patients through NMHC systems and coordinates with hospital departments.
• Performs medical necessity checks and communicates options if appointments fail.
• Facilitates pre-authorizations for diagnostic exams with physicians and insurers.
• Trains and supports staff; ensures accurate data entry and timely task completion.
