Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in front desk operations.
• Two plus years experience in a supervisory role.
• Fluent with medical terminology required.
• Experience with patient check-in and check-out process.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Access Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk team to provide patients with timely & efficient services and to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Losters training, coordination, and supervision of front desk personnel; work with clinical teams to optimize workflows.
• Track key metrics such as point-of-service cash collections, registration productivity, insurance verification, and authorizations; ensure QA standards.
• Prepare materials and participate in monthly staff meetings, new hire training and team-building activities.
• Provide escalation support for complex customer issues; serve as a liaison between patient access and hospital departments.
