Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to serve as the first point of contact for patients, upholding Intermountain values and delivering high levels of patient satisfaction. The role requires courteous communication across channels, accurate EMR documentation, and proactive patient assistance.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional connections with patients by phone, in person, or via secure messaging.
• Document calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients by confirming and updating demographic data in the system.
