Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first connection with patients, delivering exceptional customer/patient satisfaction. The role involves greeting or checking in/out patients, verifying information, and coordinating with care teams to resolve needs within the EMR framework.

The PSR collaborates with caregivers to ensure accurate data, schedules appointments, collects insurance details, and assists with billing-related forms, while maintaining PHI privacy

Formación

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills incl. word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide courteous, professional connections with patients in person, by phone, or via secure messaging.
• Resolve patient needs related to intake and care for a superior experience.
• Document calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments for visits, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients by confirming and updating demographic data.
