Qualifications

• Experience in Patient Access or hospital registration within a healthcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and lead frontline staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access activities to ensure timely registration and accurate insurance capture.
• Monitor staff productivity and quality; provide real-time coaching.
• Escalate operational issues and workflow barriers to the Manager as appropriate.
• Assist with staffing assignments and coverage to ensure adequate departmental support.
• Reinforce compliance with payer requirements, regulatory standards, and policies.
• Maintain knowledge of registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance workflows.
