Job summary

Tenet Healthcare’s Conifer Health Solutions seeks a Staff Development Supervisor in Patient Access to mentor and guide staff, oversee daily workflows, and ensure accurate revenue-cycle activities within a hospital setting.

The role includes training new hires, enforcing policies, preparing performance reports, and supporting various Registration areas as needed; on-call duties may apply, with opportunities to influence operations and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience in medical facility or health insurance preferred.
• 5+ years in Patient Access; 2+ years in supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new hires and existing staff; handle escalated issues.
• Assist in planning for Registration Process areas including Admitting, Scheduling, ED and clinics.
• Maintain positive customer service and resolve staff issues.
• Enforce policies and help develop new ones per hospital guidelines.
• Monitor daily activity and produce performance/metric reports.
• Perform Patient Access functions as needed.
• Help management ensure operational goals are met.
