Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 4+ years experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area.
• 5+ years experience in Patient Access; 2+ years in supervisory or lead role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support and mentoring to new hires and staff; manage escalated issues.
• Assist in planning for Registration Process areas including Admitting, Scheduling, ED and clinics.
• Maintain positive customer service and resolve staff issues.
• Enforce policies and develop new guidelines per hospital/corporate standards.
• Monitor daily activity and prepare performance and metric reports.
• Perform all Patient Access functions as needed.
• Participate in management to meet operational goals.
