Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising teams in Patient Access, Registration, Admissions, Emergency Department Registration, or related hospital operations.
• Experience within a hospital, health system, or acute care environment.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes including registration, eligibility verification, insurance benefits, authorizations, and patient financial clearance.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Patient Access associates across registration, admissions, and patient intake functions.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure timely, accurate patient registration and insurance verification.
• Manage staffing schedules and productivity to meet operational goals and patient volume demands.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve individual and departmental performance objectives.
• Analyze operational and quality metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
• Partner with hospital leadership to drive patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue cycle performance.
• Maintain knowledge of payer, insurance, and regulatory requirements impacting Patient Access operations.
• Conduct performance reviews, deliver feedback, and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Participate in an on-call supervisor rotation to support hospital operations as needed.
