Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead a team responsible for fast, accurate patient registrations, eligibility verification and benefits validation while delivering compassionate service.

You will coach staff, monitor QA metrics, ensure HIPAA compliance, partner with clinical teams, and drive revenue cycle performance through coaching and system optimizations. This role offers growth opportunities within R1's leadership pathway and a base salary from $55k to $72k plus bonus

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years in patient access or healthcare operations.
At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach Patient Access associates with ongoing feedback.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of registrations, eligibility verification, and benefits validation.
Deliver exceptional service and resolve patient concerns escalations with professionalism.
Train staff on workflows, policies, procedures, system enhancements, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor quality assurance metrics and HIPAA compliance with standards.
Support performance evaluations and talent development initiatives.
