Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners in Charleston, SC, is seeking a Patient Access and Pre-Access Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the patient access team and ensure efficient workflows aligned with revenue cycle goals.

This onsite role requires staff coaching, onboarding, and performance management, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, KPI monitoring, and client collaboration. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in healthcare and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 2 year/Associate degree or 4 year/Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or business is preferred.
• Ability to lead others; strong analytical skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of registration, insurance, scheduling, verification and hospital billing.
• Experience with AI-based process improvements and team management using AI.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all registration duties with staff; provides training and monitors productivity.
• Prepares and reviews reports tracking KPIs, wait times, overtime, productivity and more.
• Manages staff scheduling, including rotations, time off and call-offs.
• Oversees upfront collection process tracking and coaching as needed.
• Participates in on-call rotation including days, nights and weekends.
• Assists in developing department processes; conducts audits and coaching.
• Serves as resource for staff and promotes excellent customer service.
• Manages projects related to implementation, tracking and process changes.
• Participates in daily facility activities and gathers statistical information.
• Assists with staff evaluations and time/attendance systems.
• Attends facility meetings to ensure process alignment with client needs.
