Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Director of Patient Access to lead on-site patient access teams across hospital markets, improve processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, budget management, and collaboration with site leaders to optimize revenue cycle performance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in leadership and patient access within healthcare, experience with front-end revenue cycle functions, and a strong track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years of Patient Access experience in a hospital or large health system.
• Experience leading front-end revenue cycle functions (POC collections and denial prevention).
• Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environment.
• Demonstrated use of KPIs to drive team performance.
• Financial and project management experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and leadership for on-site Patient Access staff across admitted/registration at specific sites.
• Establish clear accountabilities and appropriate departmentalization.
• Recruit, develop and coach staff to build a high-performing team.
• Oversee budget and resource planning for revenue cycle operations.
• Collaborate with site leaders to ensure compliant, efficient patient access processes.
• Promote two-way communication and staff engagement across markets.
