Job summary

Women's Care in Brandon, FL is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice. You will collect patient information, verify eligibility, schedule visits, handle payments, and assist with billing while providing exceptional service.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, solid organizational skills, and proficiency with EMR systems, including eCW, to ensure a smooth patient experience from check-in to check-out.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a true desire to help others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly and promptly.
• Collect demographics and update patient profiles in the EMR.
• Collect payments or assist billing concerns while meeting payment goals.
• Scan insurance cards and IDs into the EMR per HIPAA policies.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and confirm next-day visits.
• Answer high volumes of calls and patient emails courteously.
• Ensure checkout and lobby areas remain tidy and presentable.
