Job summary

Women’s Care in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice. You will collect patient information, verify demographics, schedule and assist with billing, and ensure a welcoming patient experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, exceptional customer service, and strong organizational and communication skills. You will handle high call volumes, HIPAA compliance, and act as a back-up for insurance verification as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Obtain and confirm patient demographics; update profiles.
• Collect payments and assist with billing while meeting time-of-service goals.
• Scan insurance cards and IDs into the EMR system (HIPAA compliance).
• Set up payment plans per policy and answer questions about policies.
• Answer a high volume of calls and respond to emails promptly.
• Confirm all appointments for the next business day and monitor lobby.
