Job summary

Women's Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Tampa, FL. You will be the first face and voice, greeting patients, collecting demographics, and guiding registration and billing.

You’ll handle scheduling, insurance verification, and timely communications in a fast-paced, HIPAA-compliant environment. You will work closely with providers and front-desk staff to ensure a smooth patient experience and accurate data entry in the EMR system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a positive patient experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-centric, warm, welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Collect demographics and update patient profile per policy.
• Collect payment and assist with billing while meeting time-of-service goals.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs, and other info into the EMR system.
• Set up payment plans per policy.
• Answer high volume calls and respond to emails promptly.
• Confirm appointments for the next business day.
• Monitor lobby and communicate delays to patients.
• Assist patients with online registration or form completion.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and patient registration before visits.
