Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a positive patient experience.
• Strong organizational skills and a customer-centric demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Assist with billing questions and time-of-service collection.
• Scan documents into the EMR system and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; set up payment plans as needed.
• Respond to high volumes of calls and patient emails while maintaining service standards.
• Ensure check-out processes and proper checkout in the EMR at day end.
