Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• Emergency Department: 3+ years in hospital or healthcare customer-service environment.
• Prior registration experience in ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Enter orders and verify medical necessity for outpatient visits.
• Use Real Time Eligibility to verify insurance coverage and benefits.
• Collect out-of-pocket liability and copays at the time of service.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain data accuracy.
