Qualifications

• Education: High school degree or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years related work experience. Experience with computer systems required.
• Skills: Able to work in a fast-paced environment and process electronic information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients presenting for visits and explains the registration process.
• Processes patient payments and reconciles cash drawer daily.
• Completes the Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire.
• Obtains signatures on consent and financial forms and scans/records documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs.
• Monitors waiting area and maintains a pleasant patient experience.
• Maintains confidentiality and security of patient information.
