Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years’ experience in Call Center/financial counseling setting.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Proficient use of computer software such as Epic, Excel and Word.
• Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurances.
• CPT and ICD-9 coding desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and provide information and assistance; navigate customers through the organization.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; reschedule when needed.
• Verify and collect pertinent demographic and billing information.
• Document changes to patient demographics.
• Route calls to appropriate departments.
• Monitor schedules and prevent overbooking.
• Triaging calls to staff and supporting mission of quality customer service.
