You will work under the Manager of Patient Services and deliver courteous, accurate service while assessing insurance details and guiding clients through the system.

The role requires call center experience, proficiency in Epic, Excel and Word, and knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in a call center/financial counseling setting preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Proficient use of Epic, Excel and Word.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and other insurances desired.
• CPT/ICD-9 coding knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls and provides information to clients.
• Schedules and confirms appointments; reschedules as needed.
• Verifies and updates patient demographics and insurance information.
• Routinely checks schedules for overbooking and errors.
• Routes calls to appropriate departments and staff as needed.
• Supports excellent customer service and team collaboration.
