Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of experience in patient access, scheduling, registration, or customer service in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the front door for scheduling and information for patients.
• Uses critical thinking to facilitate scheduling processes.
• Accommodates special requests from internal/external customers per guidelines.
• Triages calls to System Contact Center per management scripts.
• Follows established protocols on scheduling platforms and uses multiple software applications.
• Collects and enters patient demographics, insurance, guarantor, and clinical information for financial clearance.
