Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in healthcare or related clerical, accounting, or customer service.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtains insurance verification to ensure accurate patient billing.
• Enters data for registration, billing, and scheduling efficiently.
• Verifies coverage and assists with authorizations as applicable.
• Explains financial responsibilities to patients and collects deposits when needed.
• Supports patient accounting to prevent denials and delays.
• Coordinates scheduling across departments and locations.
