• 1 year of healthcare or related clerical, accounting, or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• CPAR or CHAA certification preferred.
• Experience with patient registration and insurance verification systems.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains information and insurance verification to ensure quality patient care and payment of hospital accounts.
• Enters data for registration, billing, patient tracking, charge capture, and reconciliation.
• Verifies insurance coverage and obtains authorizations when applicable.
• Schedules patient appointments and coordinates with departments/clinics to resolve discrepancies.
