Qualifications

• One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential.
• Six months' customer service experience desired.
• May require BLS for certain locations and/or settings.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify demographics to register and/or schedule.
• Create electronic files; collect payments and assists with financial arrangements.
• Coordinate referrals, pre-authorization, and enrollment in resources.
• Operate multi-line telephones and assist as a switchboard when needed.
• Support team with scheduling and chart preparation as required.
