Job summary

The position is evening shift, 20 hours per week, with weekend and holiday rotation; expected to provide accurate data entry, basic billing support, and coordination with care teams as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Post-secondary education helpful.
• One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential.
• Six months' customer service experience desired.
• BLS may be required for certain locations/settings.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients/residents and verify demographics to accurately register and/or schedule.
• Create electronic files and route necessary forms.
• Collect co-payments, pre-payments, and/or payments on account balances.
• Coordinate registrations and scheduling tasks; manage work queues and referrals.
• Assist with pre-authorization, reminders, and basic billing tasks as needed.
