Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an Associate Patient Access Representative to be the first contact for visitors, handling customer service, patient registration and financial clearance. You will check-in patients, schedule appointments and verify insurance to ensure a smooth visit and accurate billing.

In this role you will use EPIC to pre-register patients, gather and confirm demographics and coverage, and support compliant, efficient EHR processes across hospital and ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in healthcare office setting preferred.
• Proficient in all types of registrations (inpatient, outpatient, emergency).
• Completes Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-ins and scheduling for patients.
• Assist with payment collection and insurance verification.
• Ensure compliance and accurate entry of patient demographics and financial information.
• Confirm completeness of the electronic health record (EHR) and make necessary changes.
