Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a strong customer service environment
• One year of registration experience in a hospital environment preferred
• Knowledge of insurance procedures and basic registration/access functions
• Ability to explain consent forms and obtain signatures professionally
• Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate multiple software programs

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records accurate demographic and insurance information for billing
• Collects payments, verifies insurance, and posts receipts accurately
• Explains consent forms and answers questions in a professional manner
• Maintains HIPAA privacy and protects patient information
