Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a strong customer service environment.
• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic registration and insurance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records accurate demographic and insurance information from patients.
• Performs cashiering duties and collects co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance.
• Ensures medical necessity checks comply with Medicare guidelines.
• Communicates clearly with patients, physicians, and staff while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Maintains accurate records and supports efficient patient flow in the ER/clinic.
