Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of customer service experience; hospital registration preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in English.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Explains consent forms and obtains signatures as needed.
• Collects payments, posts receipts, and balances cash drawer daily.
• Performs insurance verification and assesses patient out-of-pocket costs.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and protects patient information.
