Mercy is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Missouri to greet patients, schedule and register visits, verify benefits, and secure pre-certification and financial clearance. You will ensure accurate patient data entry and maintain familiarity with insurance guidelines and carrier processes.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of clerical and customer service experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and a high school diploma (college exposure helpful).

Qualifications

• 1-3 years clerical experience and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred.
• High School diploma required; some college helpful.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entry into Mercy facilities including scheduling, registration, and financial clearance.
• Verify and input accurate patient data into the patient record.
