Qualifications

• 1-3 years clerical and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred.
• High School diploma required; some college helpful.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, register, verify benefits, pre-certification, and financial clearance.
• Ensure accurate patient data is entered into the patient record.
• Represent Mercy with high standard of customer service and compassion.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers and guidelines.
