Job summary

Bitterroot Health in Hamilton, MT is seeking a part-time Patient Access Representative to be the friendly first contact for patients across our clinics. You will schedule appointments, verify insurance, register patients, and support referrals with a patient-centered approach.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and deliver professional service. Prior hospital/physician office experience is preferred and familiarity with billing processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; medical terminology courses a plus.
• Experience: 2+ years in a hospital or physician office preferred.
• Prior experience in scheduling, patient accounts, unit clerk, or MA roles a bonus.
• Familiarity with registration and billing processes preferred.
