Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for patients admitted to the hospital.
• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity / compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders.
• Explain and distribute patient education documents and consent forms.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and support POS/billing processes.
