Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties, collect insurance information, and verify eligibility at the hospital on-site. You will work within the patient access team to ensure compliance and provide excellent service to patients and providers.

The role requires strong customer service skills, a High School diploma, and CRCR certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CRCR certification within 6 months of hire (Company Paid).

Responsibilities

• Admit patients for services and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Verify patient insurance, collect demographics, and perform eligibility checks.
• Use ABN software to inform Medicare patients of potential non-payment when applicable.
• Explain consent forms and distribute educational materials to patients.
• Maintain accurate pre-registration of patient accounts and assist with POS collections.
