Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties for patients at Mercy - Clermont Hospital in Batavia, OH. The role is on-site, full-time with 7p-7:30a schedule, including weekend and holiday rotation.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of customer service experience and be prepared to obtain CRCR certification within 9 months; tuition reimbursement and paid certifications are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company paid).
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services.
• Operate the hospital telephone switchboard for calls as applicable.
• Verify insurance, collect demographic and insurance information, and process orders.
• Pre-register patient accounts and obtain necessary signatures and education documents.
• Explain consent forms and provide patient education materials as required.
• Support POS collections and ensure accurate audits and reporting.
