Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for Mercy - The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. This is an onsite, part-time role (11am–7:30pm) with weekend and holiday rotation.

You will perform admitting duties, register patients, verify insurance, and maintain compliance while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year of customer service experience, and will obtain CRCR certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Ability to be inquisitive and open to innovation including AI to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registration of patient accounts and collecting demographic and insurance information.
• Admitting duties for all patients admitted to services; ensure compliance and accurate MRN assignment.
• Explain and obtain signatures on consent forms and distribute patient education documents.
• Explain insurance verification results and support POS and billing processes for clean claims.
