Responsibilities

• Admit patients for services and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assign MRNs, verify medical necessity and collect insurance information.
• Explain and obtain consent forms and patient education documents.
• Review insurance eligibility and enter benefit data to support POS and billing.
• Operate telephone switchboard and provide compassionate customer service.
• Perform pre-registration and handle point-of-service collections and payments.
