Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to remain professional in stressful situations.
• Empathy and ability to communicate with patients and families during trauma.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews to obtain demographics and insurance information for registration.
• Verify insurance benefits and determine patient financial responsibilities.
• Cross-train and mentor peers across assigned areas.
• Assist patients to nursing units with directions and mobility as needed.
• Adhere to compliance for cash handling, payor policies, and patient safety.
