Job summary

You will liaise with patients, financial counselors and patient accounting, support registration and scheduling, and assist training and quality assurance efforts across the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1 year experience in customer service, health care or a business related field.
• Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist registration procedures, insurance verification, and customer service best practices.
• Serve as SME in patient access workflows, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow and scheduling, ensuring accurate registration and check-in.
• Handle escalated inquiries or complaints and provide solutions to improve satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to address patient care needs and scheduling.
• Conduct quality audits of registration data for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist training of new staff and develop training materials.
• Monitor KPIs related to registration accuracy, wait times, and satisfaction.
• Participate in department meetings and initiatives to improve operations.
