Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Patient Access Representative I staff, guiding registration procedures, insurance verification, and customer service best practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in patient access workflows, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow and scheduling, ensuring efficient and accurate registration and check-in processes.
• Handle escalated patient inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide solutions to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clinical departments, nurses, and physicians to address patient care needs and improve patient access processes.
• Conduct quality assurance audits of patient registration data, insurance information, and documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with training new staff and developing training materials on patient access policies and procedures.
• Monitor KPIs related to registration accuracy, wait times, and patient satisfaction.
