Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years experience in a customer service field preferred.
• 2 years experience in a clinical/medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-register/register patients for scheduled/unscheduled services across hospital-based areas.
• Interview patients or representatives to obtain demographic/insurance information.
• Obtain copies of identification and insurance cards; verify information on file.
• Document information in the registration system per departmental standards.
• Ensure timely deployment of consent forms and notices; update ABNs as applicable.
• Deliver superior customer service; greet and guide patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
