Qualifications

• One year of related experience preferred in medical or financial services settings.
• Experience operating a PC and using software applications.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and preregisters patients, validates demographics and benefits, and ensures data accuracy for billing.
• Verifies insurance information via calls, online resources, or e-verification systems and follows up on deficiencies.
• Identifies patient financial responsibilities, estimates costs, collects balances, and processes post-payments.
• Delivers a positive patient experience and maintains relationships with patients, offices, and payors.
• Supports productivity targets and suggests process improvements when appropriate.
• Follows organizational policies and completes required trainings; performs additional duties as assigned.
